Hey guys, long time no see! I haven’t updated you in a while, so let’s catch up.

K-squad actually split up for South Africa, but we still have another team with us. We have been here for a week. Travel day was super long; it took 95 hours to get here, but the scenery was beautiful.

We actually changed squad leaders for South Africa to get to know the other leaders. It’s been so fun and restful here in South Africa.

We got to plan our ministry and what it looks like. This week has been super slow trying to get everything going and started. Mondays and Wednesdays we have worship nights from 6-8 PM. Tuesdays and Thursdays we have VBS for kids. The town we’re currently in is extremely small, smaller than Waynesboro lol.

Some of us have been having visions of revivals happening, and I have such a strong feeling something amazing is going to happen in this small town. This town needs revival.

We went to the beach on Saturday, and it was so beautiful and so much fun. We live in these little dorms on the church property with a small Bible school on it. Currently, the kids are on summer break right now. It’s kinda been hard since the kids are on vacation, but we’re still finding joy in it and having so much fun.

We celebrated Christmas and New Year’s together. We have worship every morning to prepare our hearts for the day from 8-9 AM.

We really don’t have transportation, so when we want to go to town, we have to walk, and it’s like a 20-minute walk. We’re definitely getting our exercise in lol. Sometimes when Pastor Phil or Wayne sees us, they will pick us up.

We’re hosting a 5K every Saturday to raise money for the Bible school here, and I can’t wait!

We finally hit 4 months on the race, and I’m definitely missing home a lot, but I wouldn’t trade this for anything.
